Biographies

Amy L.  Hanna Kenney, CIPP, Special Counsel of Adams and Reese, LLP

Amy is the Financial Services Regulatory/Operations Team Leader and focuses her practice on consumer protection litigation and regulation. She has spent years litigating and counseling financial services clients in the wake of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and the Consumer Protection Act, so Amy’s experience enables her to address not only compliance issues but also litigation risks a client could face for non-compliance.  Additionally, Amy is a CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States), a designation offered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and has experience counseling organizations of all sizes in the aftermath of a data incident.

Caitlin Amick, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, Litigation Paralegal of Adams and Reese, LLP

Caitlin is a litigation paralegal in Adams and Reese LLP’s Atlanta office and works with the firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Management team to provide analysis of both U.S. and international data protection laws and regulations. She previously worked as a senior regulatory compliance analyst for an international company, giving her unique insight into the challenges businesses face in attempting to implement privacy and data security policies in a business-friendly manner. Caitlin is a CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States) and CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) and assists in responding to cyber security incidents, developing internal compliance procedures for clients, and drafting privacy policies and complex data sharing agreements.
