Research Help needed
GACFE Members have the opportunity to assist in the research of fraud in small businesses.
Dr. Jennifer Lewis Priestley from Kennesaw State University is currently working on an National Science Foundation (NSF) funded grant to develop software-based algorithms to identify fraudulent transactions for small businesses (<100 employees). She is asking CFEs and CPAs to provide their perspectives on the likelihood of fraud for about 50 transactional conditions. The survey should take no more than about 15 minutes.
After the results have been compiled, Dr. Priestley will present the results at an upcoming meeting.
