Fourth Annual Fraud and Forensic Accounting

Porter Keadle Moore, LLP (PKM), and Georgia Southern University's Center for Forensic Studies in Accounting and Business are teaming up again to sponsor the Fourth Annual Fraud and Forensic Conference at the JW Marriott in Buckhead, Atlanta on May 13-15,

Get a first-hand account from Special Agent Robert Herndon, FBI one of the key investigators featured in Warner Bros.’s movie, The Informant. Based on the national bestselling book of the same name, The Informant is the real-life tale of international price fixing and corporate corruption rampant at one of the nation’s largest, most powerful companies. Written by award-winning New York Times investigative reporter Kurt Eichenwald, The Informant is filled with so many lies, it is nearly impossible to differentiate fact from fiction. Special Agent Herndon will be one of the conference speakers and will use the ADM case and the movie as a vehicle to explore the importance of character, leadership, and ethics in our daily lives. The conference will also feature a private screening of the film.

Keynote Speakers:
FBI Special Agent Robert Herndon - Corporate Greed and Corruption

Between 30-35 national speakers and experts in numerous fraud and forensic accounting areas will speak in both general and breakout sessions.  The conference keynote speaker will be FBI Special Agent Robert Herndon of the book, and portrayed in the movie, “The Informant.”

Practitioners will speak and provide best practices.  Academia will lead sessions based on academic paper presentations.  Up to 20 CPE hours can be earned during this 2 ½ day conference.
